Data protection of applications and in application procedure

The data controller collects and processes the personal data of applicants for the purpose of developing the application procedure. Processing can also be done electronically. This is especially the case if an applicant sends relevant application documents electronically, for example via email, to the processing in-charge. If the data controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the data transmitted for the purpose of developing the employment relationship is saved in compliance with the legal regulations. If the data controller does not conclude an employment contract with an applicant, the application documents are automatically deleted 6 months after the declaration of rejection provided that deletion does not conflict with any other legitimate interests of the data controller. Other legitimate interests in this sense is, for example, a proof of evidence in legal proceedings under General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
